Best Robot Vacuum and Mop Combos
Robot vacuums and mops have become more efficient, passing our cleaning tests and tackling various floor types. Choose models that allow you to select between a variety of modes, self-empty and clean stairs.
A lot of the top models work with your smartphone. Find an app that allows you to save schedules, maps and choose cleaning modes.
1. Eufy Omni S1 Pro
Eufy's gunmetal and gloss black Omni S1 Pro is one of the most impressive robot vacuum and mop combos available on the market. It makes use of lidar to navigate, and create maps of floors and rooms (even multiple levels), and works with the free Eufy Clean app that lets you set schedules and alter the S1's behaviour.
When I tested the S1, it was quick to map the downstairs area, which has laminate flooring in the kitchen, dining room and bathrooms, along with carpeting with a medium-pile and an area rug. It was able to drive right up to walls without colliding with them, and even managed to traverse thresholds that were raised in the room without problem, although it sometimes had trouble navigating down stairs in a single move. affordable robot vacuum did an excellent job cleaning hard floors, with its mop driving effortlessly on its flat side against the floor, and then lifting its own weight when it reaches carpet or carpet.
The docking station of the S1 automatically emptys its dust bin and refills its water tank on board with clean, ozonated water before each mopping session. The dock also includes a cleaning solution in the water to ensure deep cleaning. The S1's water tank can hold enough for about twelve cleaning sessions before it needs to be emptied, though this will vary depending on how often you use the mop.
Like all 2-in-1 robots, the S1 requires periodic maintenance to ensure that it's operating well. It is necessary to regularly wash out the tank that has been contaminated to avoid it becoming blocked. It is also necessary to clean the swivel wheels and sensors frequently to avoid them from getting clogged by dust or dirt. Overall, the S1 is simple to maintain, especially compared to other combos that require more care.
2. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete
This all-in-one robotic mop and vacuum combo from Ecovacs is a powerful option to meet your cleaning requirements. The robot vacuum has 8,700Pa suction power and comes with many advanced features like voice control and smart path scheduling that cleans furniture and eliminates obstacles. The mopping feature is impressive, with mops that rotate that actually lift and scrub the floor, instead of simply drag the pad across it. The mops are also cleaned and dried at the base station, as required.
The robot comes with a simple interface that guides you throughout the process. It includes a rechargeable hand vacuum to reach those areas the robot can't reach, as well as two water tanks that are automatically emptied and refilled when required. It has a variety of settings that can be used to fine-tune your cleaning preferences.
The Deebot X2 Combo Complete is an excellent vacuum cleaner. It has a strong suction that can easily remove dust and debris that other robots have difficulty with. Its navigation abilities are also pretty good, although it could get stuck on small mats and rugs around my home (which you can alleviate by defining virtual boundaries in the app). The mopping feature is pretty excellent, too, with two spinning mop heads that actually lift and scrub the floors, instead of simply dragging the pad across it. The mops are also cleaned with heated water and dried in the base station when required. The mops are also refilled at the top of the station if they are required.
3. Dreame X40 Ultra
Dreame launched the high-end X30 Ultra earlier this year, but their new flagship model of robot vacuum and mop has even more impressive features. It is a great cleaner, and it is easy to maintain. This makes it a contender for our list of the best mops and robot vacuums. Its superior mapping capabilities, RGB AI smart detection, and an expanded side brush ensure that an effective, customized cleaning is achieved.
The X40 Ultra vacuums well, removing both fine and large debris. It is a great choice on hard floors and carpets. It was able to clean the dirtiest areas of our tests well by avoiding pet hairs as well as other mess. The sweeping performance is augmented by a side brush that automatically extends to reach hard-to-reach corners, and an extendable mop pad that deploys alongside baseboards.
Its navigation is intelligent it can navigate through tiny spaces and negotiating stairs without missing a step. It can move from one room to another without having to change direction. This is a great feature for homes with a lot of rooms. Its obstacle avoidance system is not as advanced than other models, however, and tends to leave a thick margin around obstacles, which can result in missed spots.
The app is streamlined, intuitive interface that should be easy for both novice and experienced users. The app allows you to schedule and manage cleanings. You can also alter suction power, mop setting, and view 3-D and 2D maps. You can control it via the app, Alexa or Google Assistant. You can also use the X40 Ultra's camera remotely for real-time video supervision. You will require a stable internet connection to access the app and external controls.
4. Roomba Q5 pro

Robot vacuums are excellent at picking up dirt and debris, but they're not able to get all dust. That's why it's important to make use of your regular vacuum once every week, and especially to pick up dust in corners, on shelves and in the crevices of your couch. Roborock's Q5 Pro, a 2-in-1 robot that both vacuums and mops, is designed to do just that. It's easy to connect to your home WiFI network and it works with Alexa or Apple Siri.
The Q5 is a stripped-down version of the company's more expensive S-series models. It includes the flagship Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra. It has a similar LIDAR mapping sensor, but saves on price by eliminating mopping and using a cheaper plastic body.
The Q5 remains one of the most powerful vacuums and mopping machines we've ever seen in this price range, despite not being able to wipe your floor. It has a strong suction of 5500Pa, and an automatic empty system, so you don't have to empty the bin by hand each time. It comes with a smart app which allows you to schedule cleaning times and set the floor type. It also has an automatic water tank filling and washing system for hands-free operation.
Its mops are also impressive, with a 2700Pa capacity to combat pet hair and dirt on carpets as well as hard floors. The Q5 is one of the few robots we tested that didn't show any problems with carpets with high piles or area rug, but it was unable to pick up cables or kitty litter that's not a surprise considering it doesn't include AI-powered obstacle avoidance.
5. K10 Plus
K10 Plus is the quietest robovac we have ever tested. It also uses a unique mapping system that allows it to reach tight corners and corners that other vacuums cannot. This device also collects more dust in the bin, which means you don't have to empty it as often. Additionally, it has washable filters, which reduces the cost of using the device. The robot is also able to detect carpets and increase suction if needed. The app also lets you to mark areas that you want it to stay clear of, which is a nice feature.
